We will gladly drop our prices even if it means selling below our cost to keep you as a customer.
However we have to compare exactly what we are selling to what our competitors are selling. With our
guarantee, we strive to be as fair as possible. A win-win situation is what we are looking for.
When requesting a price match, please be aware that prices will be compared on the following criteria:
- Our Low Price Guarantee is valid only for legitimate Internet retailers.
- Prices will not be compared to auction sites, products sold by a third party classified ad, member-only sites, second-hand sites, special purchasing clubs, blemished, counterfeit, refurbished and/or defective items, special orders, products subject to a no return policy, liquidation sales, mail-in rebate offers, products with special financing offers, or where a service commitment is included in the transaction, in-store promotions/exclusives, and websites selling wholesale products to resellers.
- Proof must be from the competitor's web page. Proof cannot be a verbal or written price quote, a price ticket from a store, or any undated material.
- Our Lowest price guarantee applies only to software(PC/MAC) products. Computer hardware, accessories, and media do not apply.
- The Internet retailer must have the identical product in stock and the product is priced accurately.
- Guarantee excludes any items containing special giveaways, rebates, bundles, or any extra incentives.
- Valid only at time of purchase.
- Limited to stock on hand.
- We only price match USA websites in US funds.
- Prices are compared by item and include the product price, plus shipping & handling charges when calculating the competitor's total price.
- Our Low Price Guarantee does not apply when you use coupons, promotional offers, SoftwareOutlet.com rebates, or product-bundle pricing on the order.
- Our Price Guarantee does not apply to non-USA Warranted products or gray market. "Gray market" products are purchased overseas by some retailers for unauthorized and unsupported resale in the United States.
- Our Price Guarantee may be limited in quantity at our discretion.
- Available coupons and rebates will be deducted from the SoftwareOutlet.com price to come up with a net price when calculating the price match. (For example, if you buy an item from us for $100, and we offer a $20 rebate, the net price is $80. If the item is available from another company for $80 or more, there will be no price match.)
Miscellaneous Policies
- SoftwareOutlet.com reserves the right to verify another company's product availability and price before issuing a price match guarantee.
- No dealers or resellers of any kind qualify for our low price guarantee.
- The terms of our Low Price Guarantee is subject to change at any time.
