There will be a minimum 20% restocking fee on all returned items. Returns must be made within 30 days. All returns must be accompanied by the original packaging, software, booklets and/or pamphlets, etc. in new and resalable condition and free of any markings or damage. Shipping is NON-refundable. It is the responsibility of the customer to determine if the product(s) ordered suits his/her needs and whether the product is compatible with his/her computer prior to purchase. We cannot offer refunds on ANY SOFTWARE TITLE that require activation. We can only send replacements once we have received the “defective item”.
Please Note: The customer will be responsible for shipping charges to return the package to them. In some cases, we will issue a “call tag” and the shipper will come to you to pick up the product. In most cases, we will not and you will have to take your return to an authorized facility such as a Post Office or a UPS facility or Mailboxes, etc. facility. All returned products must be shipped in the same or comparable shipping box to guarantee the return in sellable condition. If the customer selects to ship the product back in which the product is smashed and/or not resalable due to the type of shipping method they selected, SoftwareOutlet.com will not be held liable or responsible for crediting the customer for the return. The RMA Number must appear on the outside of the Packing Box upon the return of your product. If your return has not been assigned an RMA Number, SoftwareOutlet.com will not process the return.

Rebated items cannot have been submitted for rebates - all forms and Proof of Purchase materials must be returned along with the UPC bar code and/or peel off rebate sticker intact on the box as it was originally shipped to you. The product must not have been registered (or activated if applicable).
Please include a COPY of the invoice or receipt, your name, address, phone number, RMA number and a detailed description of the problem with the return. If returned materials are not received within 30 days of the order date, we will be unable to issue a credit.
Please allow up to fourteen days for your return to arrive at our Returns Department, delivery times vary based on shipper selected. Your return is usually processed within 7-14 days after receipt of the item.
Depending on the applicable policies above, you can request either a credit or a replacement when you return your product. If you request a credit, your original method of payment will be credited as soon as possible after your return is processed and approved. If you request a replacement product, your replacement order will be sent to fulfillment once your return is processed and approved. How quickly your replacement product ships after that depends on product availability.
We do not ship your replacement order before we receive your return (cross-ship). If you need a replacement sooner than the timeline outlined above, please place a new order on the website, independent of the returns process.
Opened items can only be exchanged for the exact same item.
